My name is Nora Babu

The Nightingale Project was born during a challenging time in my life when I lost vision in my left eye in 2024. Throughout my medical journey, nurses provided not just care but also reassurance and compassion, becoming my steadfast advocates. Recognizing their often-overlooked dedication, I wanted to express my gratitude and created Nightingale Project: a youth-led initiative empowering students to appreciate and support nurses through storytelling, advocacy, and community engagement. This project connects youth leadership with healthcare advocacy, reminding nurses that their work and compassion matter.
